Brooklyn Nets Big-3 out vs the Los Angeles Lakers in preseason opener

The Big-3 of the Brooklyn Nets will sit out the preseason opener against the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday night.

Nets head coach Steve Nash revealed the news on Saturday. Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving will be unavailable for the contest.

In addition, Brooklyn will face the Lakers without Patty Mills, James Johnson, Blake Griffin and Joe Harris. On the other hand, the Los Angeles Lakers will be short-handed in the game, too.

More specifically, LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Russell Westbrook and Trevor Ariza will be out. At the same time, Anthony Davis will only play in the opening quarter.

Both teams have started their training camps and are getting ready for the season opener on October 19.
