Los Angeles Clippers are fully vaccinated ahead of the new NBA season, head coach Ty Lue revealed during a meeting with the members of the media.
Several teams have not yet reached a 100 percent vaccination status, as various cities in the United States constrain citywide mandates.
On Wednesday, the NBA released a statement, claiming “any player who elects not to comply with local vaccination mandates will not be paid for games that he misses.”
Lue shared his thoughts on the situation, and how it can affect the Clippers ahead of the new season, as the city of Los Angeles has been mulling a vaccine mandate to go to restaurants, bars, and any kind of indoor events.

“Well, our guys are vaccinated, so we’re just trying to do whatever the league tells us to do. We try to abide by the rules and kind of go from there. We talked about it last year, just being able to adapt and do what we need to do to play the game that we love.”
The NBPA executive director Michele Roberts noted that over 90% of NBA players are fully vaccinated.
