Trevor Ariza returned to the Los Angeles Lakers after 12 years with other teams. One report suggests that the 36-year-old small forward will be a starter for the purple and gold, but the player is open to do whatever the team needs.

“My spot is just to come in and do what the team asked me to do. Whatever the role that is, I guess we’ll figure it out during the camp,” he said during them media day. But regardless of whatever the role is, I know I’m ready for it. I’m a plug-and-play type player.

“I’ve been around a lot. I’ve been in a bunch of different places. I’ve always found a way to contribute to teams. So I’m not worried about that. I just worry about us being together, meshing together and winning games.”
