Golden State Warriors could return to the postseason this year, as they are preparing to welcome Klay Thompson back to their line-up.

The Warriors’ head coach Steve Kerr talked on Thompson’s first practice with the rest of team, as Klay is making his way back to the squad.

“Klay looked great. Shooting lights out, and his team won the daily shooting competition,” Kerr said after the Warriors’ opening preseason practice.

Thompson is considered one of the best shooters in the league, being an integral part of the Warriors’ high-octane offense all those years.

He helped lead the Warriors to three NBA championships and five consecutive Finals appearances. Steph Curry remained alone to carry the Warriors to the play-in tournament last season.

In two seasons without Klay on the floor, the Warriors missed the postseason both times. It’s still unclear when Thompson will be ready to play this season, as the Warriors did not give a clear timetable.
