Wayne Ellington will be on the same team as LeBron James for the first time in his career after signing with the Los Angeles Lakers as a free agent. The 33-year-old shooting guard is used to competing against the four-time NBA champion but will have a new experience of being teammates with him.

“I haven’t got the chance to workout with him specifically yet or play yet,” Ellington said of James on Noble & Roosh Show. “But I will say this, today was my second day working out in the facility and every morning that I get there, he is already there in full sweat going through his workout. That’s all that needs to be set.

“For me to see that, just tells me where I need to be and what I need to be doing. Just watching him a little bit and seeing how specific he is, how detailed he is while he’s going through that work. It just shows why he is one of the greatest players to ever touch a basketball.

“I’m excited. I watched when he was shooting with some of the younger guys today this morning. Just watching how.. his intensity and watching how he was visualizing the game, how he was getting to his spot, his footwork. To be honest, I think he was going hard at some of those guys out there shooting.. When I get down there with LeBron there’s no way I’m letting him go hard at me when he’s drilling .. I cannot let him outdo me at what I do.”
