Chicago Bulls share update on Patrick Williams, Coby White injuries

Chicago Bulls made known that Patrick Williams will remain sidelined for 4-6 weeks due to a severe sprain of his left ankle. The injury occurred during an optional individual workout on September 15.

The fourth overall pick of the 2020 NBA Draft averaged 9.2 points and 4.6 rebounds in 71 games as a rookie. At the same time, Coby White is expected to recover fully from a shoulder surgery in November.

The Bulls’ guard underwent successful surgery on his left shoulder back in June, and he will participate in non-contact portions of training camp during the preseason.

White has appeared in 134 games in Chicago, thus far, averaging 14.2 points, 3.8 assists, and 3.8 rebounds during his three seasons with the Bulls.
