Golden State Warriors are preparing for a very exciting season with only concern being the final roster spot, which is expected to be a back-up guard.

Steve Kerr joined The Athletic’s Tim Kawakami’s “The TK Show,” where he discussed what the team was planning to do with the open roster spot.

According to the veteran coach, Golden State will take ‘a good look’ at some players before deciding what to do with the 15th spot in the roster.

“The way we’re looking at it is that it’s up in the air,” Kerr said. “We may or may not use it, but that’s what training camp is for. You get a really good look at some guys, there are some really interesting names, people who are really proven players in the league. You get a chance to get a good look at those guys and some young guys who are trying to make it in the league.”

According to the latest reports, the Warriors are checking on proven vets to cover the need behind Steph Curry, as they are interested in players like Isaiah Thomas, Quinn Cook and Avery Bradley.

The Warriors elected to add Otto Porter Jr., Nemanja Bjelica and Andre Iguodala, who all joined the ‘Dubs’ in minimum deals.
