Frank Vogel will have a difficult job this season when it comes to role distribution in the Los Angeles Lakers.

Vogel, the head coach of the Lakers, saw several newcomers join the team this offseason. However, he admitted it is too early to decide on what roles the players will have this year.

“There really is a vast array and no decisions have been made. People ask me all the time. Are we gonna start AD at the 5 or are we gonna play with two bigs, like we did two years ago — what’s it gonna look like?

The honest answer is we don’t know yet. We’re gonna watch these guys play together in camp and measure the pros and cons of certain lineups,” Vogel told Spectrum Sportsnet.

It is certain Frank Vogel will have all three superstars in the starting lineup. Russell Westbrook will be the point guard, with LeBron James and Anthony Davis as the 4 and 5, respectively.

With that in mind, Vogel will need to decide on who will start at 2 and 3 for the Lakers. For the time being, Kendrick Nunn will certainly be the backup point guard. Carmelo Anthony will most likely come off the bench for the 17-time NBA champions. Big men Dwight Howard and De Andre Jordan will also come off the bench for the Lakers.
