Kendrick Perkins says Kyle Kuzma will have a career year with the Wizards

Kyle Kuzma will play for the first time away from the Los Angeles Lakers, as he was part of the trade that sent Russell Westbrook to LA.

After a mildly disappointing season with the Lakers, the versatile forward is ready for a fresh start with the Washington Wizards.

ESPN analyst Kendrick Perkins believes Kuz will take a huge leap this year in Washington, and, as a result, he will have a career season with the Wizards.

(via fadeawayworld.net):

“I say Kuz to have a career year. Would he make an All-Star game? I’m not saying that. But people have to realize, it’s lot of pressure playing alongside LeBron James and playing for a championship,” Perkins said in “The Jump”.

“And in Washington there’s no pressure. It’s just pressure to get to the playoffs. I’m looking for Kuz to have that monkey off his back, go out there, be able to play freely. I’m looking for him to have a career year this year.”

The Wizards are looking to establish themselves as a solid playoff team in the East. With Bradley Beal, Spencer Dinwiddie, and Kyle Kuzma, they certainly have a chance to do exactly that.
