FC Barcelona rallied past Valencia (87-68) and advanced to the Final of the Spanish Super Cup for a third straight time.
The Catalans took control from the opening tip and never looked back (27-16). In the second half, Valencia attempted to turn things around, but FC Barcelona extended its lead to 20 points and cruised to the victory.
Brandon Davies and Cory Higgins led the way for the winners, with 15 and 13 points, respectively. On the other hand, Martin Hermannsson and Josep Puerto had 11 points each for the losing squad.
FC Barcelona, which named its captains for the new season, will now face either Real Madrid or hosts Tenerife in the Final of the Super Cup.
