During his introductory press conference, DeAndre Jordan, the newest addition to the Los Angeles Lakers, revealed that he always wanted to play with Dwight Howard. The 33-year-old center was also excited to have the opportunity to team up with Howard for the coming season.
Howard, for his part, sent a message of respect to his new teammate via Instagram. “I see greatness in you. Let’s go @deandre 🏆🏆🔒🔒” the 35-year-old veteran wrote on a post which featured a picture of himself and Jordan.
Both players hope to win a championship this coming season, which would be Jordan’s first and Howard’s second.
