Ben Simmons saga continues as both the three-time All-Star and the Philadelphia 76ers are trying to find a way to work on a beneficial deal for both sides.

According to a report by Heavy, Celtics insider A. Sherrod Blakely was asked in a recent podcast if the Boston Celtics should make a move for Simmons, considering that his price keeps dropping.

“I could absolutely see it happening if the price keeps dropping,” Blakely said. “To me, it’s going to be one of those things where Ben Simmons would have to say ‘I want to play with Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum.’ Because there’s no way that they’re going to get either one of those guys — Philly that is — in exchange for Ben, it just won’t happen.”

Getting a player with Ben Simmons’ talent will go a long way to making the Celtics a legit contending team, as they will put another All-Star alongside Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.

The Celtics already added Dennis Schroder, Al Horford, Josh Richardson, Juancho Hernangomez and Bruno Fernando this offseason.
