The Los Angeles Lakers are reportedly adding DeAndre Jordan to fill the last roster spot ahead of the 2021-2022 NBA season. The 33-year-old center finalized a contract buyout with the Detroit Pistons to become a free agent.

Sports analyst Skip Bayless weighed in on the move on Twitter. “The Nets added Millsap AND brought back LaMarcus, on top of signing Patty Mills?! The Lakers are going to take Nets reject DeAndre Jordan?! Hey, Bron: How are you ever going to win another title? Better start doing FOUR workouts a day, my man,” he tweeted.

Jordan, a long-time Clipper, spent the last two seasons with the Nets. This past season he averaged 7.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game.
