Phoenix Suns are hoping to improve their team and add more veteran pieces around Devin Booker, DeAndre Ayton and Chris Paul.

According to Shams Charania, the NBA finalists are among the contending teams interested in acquiring veteran forward Thaddeus Young, who was part of the sign-and-trade that sent DeMar DeRozan from San Antonio to Chicago.

The 33-year-old Young averaged 12.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 4.3 assists last season for Chicago, proving to be a valuable veteran presence in a young team.

The Spurs’ forward is on his last year of his deal, and could be a valuable asset for San Antonio, that might try to trade him during deadline to generate a bidding war.
