According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, point guard Rajon Rondo plans to sign a one-year, $2.6 million deal with the Los Angeles Lakers upon clearing waivers today. The 35-year-old veteran agreed to a contract buyout with the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday. The former All-Star guard will still make his full $7.5 million salary this season between the buyout and new deal. Rondo is expected to sign the contract on Tuesday.
