Jared Dudley retires from the NBA to join the Mavs as an assistant coach

Jared Dudley has announced his decision to retire from the NBA and sign with the Dallas Mavericks as an assistant coach.

Dudley took to Twitter and revealed the news, thanking LeBron James, Anthony and the Los Angeles Lakers for helping him win the title.

Dudley spent 14 years in the NBA and won the NBA championship once (in 2020).

Dudley averaged 7.3 points and 3.2 rebounds across 904 NBA games, spending his final two seasons as a key veteran on the Lakers. He was part of the 2020 Lakers title team. https://t.co/8Dh8QOjIcL
