It seems Ben Simmons will do everything he can to get traded by the Philadelphia 76ers before the start of the regular season.
According to an NBA scout, Simmons could skip training camp in order to force the Sixers to trade him.
“One scout I spoke to said they wouldn’t be surprised if Simmons considers not showing up to training camp if he hasn’t been traded,” Paolo Uggetti of The Ringer reports.
Simmons and the Sixers don’t see eye-to-eye since the elimination from the Eastern Conference Finals and the young superstar will sooner or later part ways with the franchise.
Simmons still has four years and $147M left on his current contract with Philadelphia.
