Carmelo Anthony reflected on his time with the Portland Trail Blazers and his relationship with Blazers superstar Damian Lillard.
Anthony, who spent two seasons with Portland, said he was grateful for being able to form a great relationship with Lillard.
“I always was connected to Portland somehow. I don’t know why, but I was always connected with Portland. I could’ve been there four years ago, it didn’t work out.
I always told myself Dame will always go down as one of my top dogs. Forget basketball. Like as a human being, it don’t get better than that,” Anthony said during his recent appearance on All The Smoke podcast, via Marlow Ferguson Jr. of Blazer’s Edge.
Carmelo Anthony recently signed an one-year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers and will fight alongside LeBron James, Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis for his first NBA championship.
