FC Barcelona officially started its training camp and head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius opened up about his plans for the preseason.
Jasikevicius said he and the players still have plenty of work to do and it is still too early for FC Barcelona to set its goals for the coming season.
“We made some moves in the offseason, but we kept the core intact. We still have plenty of work to do and raise our level of energy and intensity day-by-day. Our players need to be in good physical condition and motivated,” Jasikevicius told reporters, via Eurohoops.net.
FC Barcelona has three weeks to prepare until the first game of the season (Spanish SuperCup, September 11-12), while the club is in advanced talks with Nigel Hayes.
