Hornets reportedly love LiAngelo Ball amid Summer League strong performances

Charlotte Hornets gave LiAngelo Ball the chance to show his improvement during the Las Vegas Summer League, and the older Ball brother did not disappoint.

Members of the Charlotte Hornets front office reportedly “love” LiAngelo Ball amid a strong performance for the team at the Las Vegas Summer League, per Jordan Schultz of ESPN.

Ball is hoping to earn a roster spot in the NBA or the G League this season, after averaging 10.5 points in four games. He had a strong start in his debut, scoring 16 points and showing the ability to make shots from outside.

The undrafted guard shot 41.7 percent from three-point range, adding 1.5 steals per game during his limited playing time in the Summer League.
