Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr discussed several topics revolving around Team USA success in Tokyo and the Warriors’ future ahead of the 2021-22 season.

The three-time NBA champion with the Warriors admitted he would be interested in being the head coach of Team USA at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

(via Bleacher Report):

“Of course I’d be interested. I mean, who wouldn’t be?” Kerr said, per The Athletic’s Tim Kawakami. “I’ll leave it at that. I have no idea how it will all transpire; there are a lot of great candidates out there. And if I were to be considered, that would be an honor.”

Kerr was part of the United States coaching staff in the last three years, joining the staff of Gregg Popovich, who took over the team’s head coach position after the 2016 Summer Olympics.

For now, Kerr is focused on the Warriors’ season, after a successful Olympic run in Tokyo, however with the USA’s head coach position being vacant, Kerr would definitely be an interesting option.
