Bayern Munich adds Deshaun Thomas

Bayern Munich added another veteran EuroLeague player as the team announced the signing of Deshaun Thomas for the upcoming season.

Thomas returns for his seventh EuroLeague campaign after spending the previous season with Alvark Tokyo. Thomas, 29, played for Panathinaikos between 2018 and 2020, before joining Alvark.

The scoring forward had an average of 13.9 points, 4.4 rebounds in the 2019-20 season with Panathinaikos. He also played for Anadolu Efes, FC Barcelona, Maccabi Tel Aviv and Nanterre in the past.

“I am sure I have a lot of experience, but above all I am the type who stands for solidarity, who is a hard worker and who wants to win. I can score, but I fight just as hard for rebound and defense,” Thomas said in his first statement as a member of Bayern.
