Dwight Howard doesn’t agree with the recent talks about the Lakers being an ‘old’ team, given the players they signed in the offseason.

With the Lakers inking several veteran players, Howard believes the 2020 NBA champions are an ‘experienced’ team, not an ‘old’ one.

“They calling us the old Lakers…we ain’t old, we just experienced,” Howard said during an Instagram Live session on Friday.

The Lakers signed Howard, Russell Westbrook, Carmelo Anthony, Trevor Ariza, Kent Bazemore and Wayne Ellington, with all six of them being 32 or older. Only Malink Monk (20) and Kendrick Nunn (26) are young.

For his part, Howard returns to the Lakers for a third time and wants to win his second title with the franchise, after claiming the 2020 NBA championship.
