Veteran guard Maodo Lo extended his contract for two years, the club announced Wednesday. Lo, 28, averaged 9.5 points and 3.1 assists in the 2020-21 EuroLeague, along with 9.2 points and 3.7 assists in the German League.
He helped ALBA win its second consecutive domestic championship title, and he was a member of the German national team in the Olympics.
He averaged 13.5 points and 5.0 assists per game to help the German national team reach the quarter-finals of the Olympic Basketball Tournament.
“After we finished last season with the championship, I’m looking forward to my extension and the future even more. I hope that we’ll continue to play so successfully that we will also grow in the EuroLeague, gain more and more experience and take the next steps as a team,” Lo said after signing his extension.
