Free-agent guard Bryn Forbes agreed to a contract to return to the San Antonio Spurs early Wednesday morning, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.

The 25-year-old guard averaged 10.0 points in 19 minutes of play coming off the bench with the NBA champions, Milwaukee Bucks. He also shot a career-high 45.2 percent from three on almost five attempts per game.

The former Cleveland State shooting guard spent his first four seasons with the Spurs. He was a starter in his last two seasons with the franchise, averaging a career-high 11.8 points per game.

Forbes decided to decline his second-year option with the Bucks and sign with the San Antonio Spurs, who needed an off-the-bench scorer after the departure of Patty Mills.
