Serge Ibaka exercises player option to remain with the Clippers

Serge Ibaka has decided to return to the Clippers for the 2021/22 season.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Ibaka is exercising his player option, worth $9.7M.

Ibaka played just 41 games for the Clippers last season, due to injuries.

The veteran center missed the final part of the season, with the Clippers being eliminated in the Western Conference Finals.

Ibaka averaged 11.1 points and 6.7 rebounds for the Clippers.
