Russell Westbrook expressed his excitement about joining the Los Angeles Lakers via an Instagram story. The 32-year-old star point guard shared a picture posted by another IG user which featured all three Lakers stars — LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Westbrook.
The picture also had the text “The city is lit!!!! This is crazy” on it. Los Angeles will be Westbrook’s third team in three years as he has already played for the Houston Rockets and the Washington Wizards since being traded by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the summer of 2019.
