Another name surfaced among the targets of the Los Angeles Lakers. According to Shams Charania, the Lakers and the Kings have discussed a Buddy Hield trade. The 28-year-old point guard spent the last two seasons in Sacramento.

He entered the league in 2016 as the number six draft pick by the New Orleans Pelicans. Hield has three more years on his contract with the Kings. He is set to earn $22 million next season.

Charania reports on The Athletic that the trade would include Kyle Kuzma. The Lakers forward, who has just turned 26, has been a target of the Kings for some time now.

This past season, Hield averaged 16.6 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game for the Kings. He’s been making 40% of his three-pointers during the six years in the NBA.
