Ben Simmons is expected to be moved this offseason as the Philadelphia 76ers put their young star in the trading block. Marc Stein reported (hat tip to Bleacher Report) Friday that the Toronto Raptors are exploring ways to get Simmons.

The 25-year-old LSU product has been rumored as a potential trade candidate since Philadelphia was knocked out of the playoffs by the Atlanta Hawks in the second round.

Recent reports suggested the Sixers are hoping to receive a “massive haul” headlined by an All-Star-level player to move Simmons.

On the other hand, the Raptors face Kyle Lowry’s free agency, with several title contenders like the Lakers having serious interest on the veteran point-guard.

In any case, if Lowry chooses to sign elsewhere, Toronto may amp up their interest on the Philadelphia 76ers’ All-Star point guard to replace the veteran guard.
