Mario Hezonja will not play for Panathinaikos next season, as he decided to turn down the “Greens” extension offer.

Panathinaikos offered Hezonja a new, two-year contract, worth a total of two million euros, but the Croatian forward didn’t accept it, as multiple Greek websites report.

Therefore, Hezonja now is a free agent and is expected to attract interest from several EuroLeague teams.

Any team that wants to sign Hezonja should pay FC Barcelona 400K euros, as the Catalans still hold his rights in Europe. Hezonja played in 26 games with Panathinaikos in all competitions.
