Magic Johnson took to Twitter and shared his thoughts on what led to the Milwaukee Bucks claiming the 2021 NBA championship.
Johnson, a Lakers and NBA legend, highlighted the main reasons that helped the Bucks overcome their struggles and climb to the top of the NBA.
“The Milwaukee Bucks won for four reasons: 1) Giannis figured out how to beat the so called wall defense that had him confused before the playoffs 2) Coach Budenholzer got better in the playoffs and his in-game adjustments were superb.
3) The additions of Jrue Holiday, PJ Tucker, and Bobby Portis and 4) Kris Middleton became the closer,” Magic Johnson tweeted.
Milwaukee managed to come back from a 2-0 deficit in the Finals vs the Phoenix Suns and eventually won the series 4-2 to earn its first title since 1971.
