Kevin Durant on the Bucks’ championship run: “Respect that journey”

Kevin Durant had nothing but good words to say about the Milwaukee Bucks becoming the 2021 NBA champions.

Durant, the superstar of the Brooklyn Nets, was impressed by what he saw from the Bucks and gave credit to the team for its achievement.

“I know it’s the first chip and a lot of people call you a dynasty after a few (titles), but the continuity of that team is something that’s impressive and how they continue to build and add and now they’re champions, and you can appreciate that.

To see a couple of friends become champions today was cool. That experience doesn’t happen for just anybody, so you respect that journey,” Durant said, via Joe Vardon of The Athletic.

Durant and the Nets were eliminated by the Bucks in the second round of the playoffs in a dramatic series, which Milwaukee won in Game 7 (3-4).
