Bayern Munich added Darrun Hilliard on aN one-year deal with an option for another one, the team announced today. Hilliard will join his third team in Europe after CSKA Moscow and Baskonia.

The 28-year-old swingman spent the last two seasons with CSKA, averaging 8.7 points and 2.0 rebounds and helping his team reach the 2021 Final Four. He also helped CSKA win the VTB League title last season.

The American guard/forward started his career in EuroLeague with Baskonia. Hilliard made 98 appearances in the competition, he has averaged 9.5 points and 2.4 rebounds.

“Bayern has great ambitions. I have spoken to coach Trinchieri several times about my role, he is a real basketball mind, everyone knows and appreciates that,” Hilliard said after signing his contract.
