Mavericks, Nets expected to show interest in Nerlens Noel, per report

Nerlens Noel had a great season as part of the New York Knicks frontcourt helping the team reach the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference.

According to Ian Begley of SNY, Noel, who is going to be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, could attract interest from several teams including the Dallas Mavericks and the Brooklyn Nets.

The veteran center played in 64 games the past season replacing Mitchell Robinson, who was ruled out with a season ending injury mid-season.

Noel averaged 5.1 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per contest, playing huge part in Knicks being established as one of the best defenses in the league.

Both Brooklyn and Dallas will seek to improve their rim-protection this offseason after being two of the worst teams in this department.
