On Tuesday the USA earned their first exhibition win ahead of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics against Argentina by 108-80 points. Team USA previously lost against Nigeria and Australia. This encouraged the star of the Brooklyn Nets Kevin Durant to share suggestions how his team should play to defeat opposing teams.

Durant, who was the top scorer for the Americans along with Bradley Beal with 17 points, stressed the importance on defending well so even if the shots are not falling in they can still control the game.

Via theScore:

“We’re not going to make shots all the time. But if we continue to guard the way we are, it’ll start to turn for us on offense. When we keep the ball in front and we get stops and rebounds, then we pretty much can play with a clean slate on the offensive side of the ball.”
