Los Angeles Lakers’ big man Montrezl Harrell is not happy with the way Frank Vogel used him last season. Responding to his followers on IG, Harrell fired back at those coming up with different reasons why he was benched by Vogel.
Several comments suggested Harrell was benched due to match-up situations in the postseason, however the former Sixth Man of the Year called it a mere “excuse”.
Harrell has a player option in his contract with the Lakers for the 2021-22 season. The 27-year-old NBA veteran averaged just 13.5 points and 6.2 rebounds in his first season with the franchise.
The Lakers are expected to be active during the offseason as players like Alex Caruso, Talen Horton-Tucker and other crucial role players.
