Trey Murphy III is going to hear his name in the upcoming draft, with several mock drafts having him in the last 10 picks of the first round.

The Lakers already interviewed the potential 3-and-D wing at the draft combine, and they brought him in for a six-player group workout at their practice facility on Saturday.

Murphy talked on his workout with the LA franchise, and how he wants to become an All-Star in the future:

“In my first year obviously you can’t control a lot. It’s up to your effort and energy, and I’m going to have to learn and make my adjustments,” Murphy said. “But over time, I want to become an All-Star.

I want to be really good in the game of basketball, and I want to play for a long time. I really love this game a lot, and hopefully, I can do it at a high level.”

The Lakers hold the 22nd pick in the first round of the 2021 NBA Draft. The NBA Draft will be held on July 29.
