Phoenix Suns big man Dario Saric has been diagnosed with a torn ACL in his right knee and will be out indefinitely, the team announced.

Saric exited with 1:43 left in the first quarter of Game 1 of the NBA Finals after his knee appeared to buckle on a drive to the basket.

In 14 games played this postseason, the 27-year-old was averaging 4.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game in 10.5 minutes per game.

Without Saric, the Suns will likely play more small-ball lineups and big man Frank Kaminsky could also see some more playing time for the rest of the series against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Game 2 is July 8 and then there will be two off-days before each of the remaining games in the series.
