Danilo Gallinari headlines 12-man roster of Italy for the Olympic Games

Danilo Gallinari returns to the national team of Italy ahead of the Olympic Games in late July (July 25 – August 7).

Gallinari headlines the roster of Italy, which will compete in Group B, along with Australia, Nigeria and Germany.

Marco Spissu, Nicolo Mannion, Stefano Tonut, Nicolò Melli, Simone Fontecchio, Amedeo Tessitori, Giampaolo Ricci, Riccardo Moraschini, Michele Vitali, Achille Polonara and Alessandro Pajola are the other 11 players of the roster.

Italy won the Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Belgrade and returns to the Olympics after 17 years (2004).

Danilo Gallinari and the rest of the roster will meet in Rome on July 12 and will leave for Japan on July 16. Their first game will be vs Germany on July 25.
