Luka Doncic made an interesting statement regarding winning a gold medal with Slovenia or claiming the NBA championship.
Doncic said leading Slovenia to the top would be more important than winning the title with the Dallas Mavericks.
“I’d say gold medal with Slovenia. You play for your country and that’s something, but I wouldn’t mind both,” Doncic said, via Antonis Stroggylakis of Eurohoops.net.
Doncic and Slovenia will face Lithuania in the Final of the Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Kaunas on Sunday.
