Achille Polonara joined Fenerbahce on a 2+1 deal, the team announced earlier today. The former Baskonia forward, it’s Fener’s fourth addition this offseason.
Polonara averaged 12.2 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.2 steals per game in a breakout season in the EuroLeague. He also put up 11.3 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game in the Spanish Liga Endesa.
The 29-years old forward joined Baskonia back in 2019 emerging as a big part of the team that won the ACB title in 2020.
He also played for Sassari, Teramo, Varese, and Reggiana while being a key part of the Italian national team.
