Chris Paul on Suns’ 3-1 lead over Clippers: “Don’t wanna talk about 3-1, had a bad experience”

Chris Paul and the Phoenix Suns are one win away from the NBA Finals after claiming a road victory in Game 4 of the WCF vs. the Los Angeles Clippers.

While both teams had a tough time shooting the ball, DeAndre Ayton showed off with a monster double-double of 19 points and 22 rebounds.

After the game, Paul did not want to talk about Phoenix’s 3-1 lead in the series having a bad experience in the past, when he was part of the Clippers and the Rockets.

(via the sportrush.com):

“Man, it was crazy. That team over there, they’re fighting. They’re fighting man, they’ve done so well. They compete. And man, to play so many games over in this building, in front of these amazing fans…we still got a ways to go but it felt good to get a win here.”

When Rachel Nichols of ESPN brought up CP3’s history with 3-1 leads, the Suns superstar was definitely having none of that.

“Yeah, I don’t wanna talk about 3-1. I’ve had a bad experience with that.”
