Pierria Henry joins Fenerbahce to form a formidable duo with Nando De Colo, the club announced on Thursday. Henry was one of the top-tier free agents this offseason, with several teams, like CSKA Moscow and Real Madrid, having interest in signing him.

Henry signed a 1+1 deal with the Turkish club. He averaged 10.5 points, 7.3 assists, and 1.3 steals in 34 games of the EuroLeague regular season with Baskonia.

After the additions of Marial Shayok and Devin Booker, plus the extension of Nando De Colo and Dyshawn Pierre, Fener was looking for a starting point guard.

Henry, who will play in the Olympic Qualifiers with the Senegalese national team, spent the last two seasons as the starting point guard with Baskonia.

He led his team to an ACB title in the 2019-2020 season, while he was named EuroCup regular season MVP and All-EuroCup Second Team as part of UNICS Kazan during the 2018-19 season campaign.
