Kawhi Leonard was out for Game 1 and 2 of the series vs. the Phoenix Suns, with the Clippers losing both games. According to Adrian Wojnwarowski, the franchise is not confident with the possibility of a return, per Real GM.

Leonard injured his knee at the 5:25 mark of the fourth quarter in Los Angeles’ Game 4 win over the Utah Jazz in the second round of the WC playoffs.

“I think right now there’s confidence that the Suns are going to get Chris Paul back in the series,” said Adrian Wojnarowski on NBA Countdown before Game 2. “That confidence of Kawhi Leonard being back is not there right now in L.A.”

According to Farbod Esnaashari, Leonard suffered a sprained ACL with the LA franchise ruling him out as a day-to-day injury.

Leonard was averaging 30.4 points on 57.3 percent shooting, 7.7 rebounds and 4.4 assists in 11 playoff starts prior to the injury.
