Kyle Kuzma signed a three-year contract extension with the Los Angeles Lakers this past offseason which should keep him with the team until 2024 (his final year is a player option). However, once again his name is floated around in trade rumors.

Recently, a report appeared suggesting that the 25-year-old forward could get traded by the Lakers. It was further supported by NBA insider Marc J. Spears, who said it appears Kuzma is on his way out.

The 2020 NBA champion further fuelled speculations by deleting the Lakers from his Instagram bio. It is nothing new for Kuzma to be included in trade rumors. Ever since entering the league, his name was part of speculations each season.

This year, Kuzma was given slightly more playing time (3 minutes) and it reflected in growth of his numbers. He averaged 12.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game this season for the Lakers.

Kuzma’s teammate Dennis Schroder was spotted deleting the Lakers from his IG bio earlier this season as well. Though, he later denied it was related with his future plans and expressed his desire to stay with the team.
