76ers Joel Embiid expresses frustration for Game 6 officiating

Joel Embiid and the rest of the Philadelphia 76ers expressed their frustration on Game 6 officiating as the Sixers remained alive in the series and forced a Game 7 vs. Atlanta.

After the game, Joel Embiid shared his thoughts on the game officiating and how the referees did not have any consistency in their calls throughout the game.

(via NBC Sports Philadelphia):

“I told them, they had to call it both ways,” Embiid said. “We had a bunch of guys, whether it’s Ben (Simmons) or Tobias (Harris), in foul trouble. I just felt like it wasn’t called both ways, especially because of the minimal contact that they get, their point guard.

“When it comes to us, we don’t get the same thing. I just want it called both ways. If we’re going to call something like nothing on their point guard, it should be the same way and they (should) call the same thing (for) me if I get touched.”

Game 7 is set to take place on Sunday as the Sixers and the Hawks will fight for a place in the Eastern Conference Finals.
