Andre Drummond became an unrestricted free agent after his deal with the Los Angeles Lakers expired. The 27-year-old center joined the Purple and Gold in April after agreeing on a buy-out with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
A fan asked him on Instagram to re-sign with the Lakers for a minimum deal to which Drummond responded with “you drunk”. It appears that the center will seek a better deal.
During the season-closing press conference, Drummond did not give a clear answer on whether he plans to return to Los Angeles next season. Sports analyst Colin Cowherd predicted that the Lakers will keep him as he is the team’s best center.
