Kawhi Leonard appears to be an old 29-year-old to sports analyst Chris Broussard. According to him, the Los Angeles Clippers star cannot be at his best both in offense and in defense for 40 minutes in every game and his team is aware of that.

“Kawhi appears to be an old 29. He just can’t give it to you on both ends of the court for 40 minutes a night, every playoff game,” Broussard said on First Things First. He then theorized that there might be a deal between Leonard and the Clippers under which the team does not expect him to guard Donovan Mitchell unless it is absolutely necessary.

So far, Leonard is averaging 37.7 minutes per game during three second round games against the Utah Jazz. During seven first round games against the Dallas Mavericks, he averaged 40.7 minutes per game.
