Maccabi Tel Aviv is nearing a deal with 24-year-old American point guard Keenan Evans, as reported by Or Shkedy of Walla Sports.
Evans had a career season in Israel with Hapoel B-Cure Laser Haifa. The Texas Tech product posted 18.5 points, 6.4 assists, and 4.1 rebounds per game in regular season and added 22.0 points per game in the Winner’s League postseason.
According to Eurohoops, Maccabi had Evans in its list since March. Evans also played for Igokea during the 2019-2020 season, making his debut in Europe and winning the Bosnian and Hergozovian League.
