Marius Grigonis officially joins CSKA Moscow

CSKA Moscow started the offseason by adding one of the hottest names in free agency, Marius Grigonis. The team announced that Grigonis signed a deal with the ‘Army Team’ until 2024.

Grigonis spent the last three seasons of his career with Zalgiris Kaunas. He won three Lithuanian League and two Mindaugas Cup trophies during the stint.

The 27-year-old guard/forward established himself at the starting five of Zalgiris averaging 13.4 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.2 assists over 34 EuroLeague games this past season.

Grigonis played also for ALBA Berlin, Tenerife and Manresa before returning to Zalgiris in 2018. During his time with Tenerife, he was named the Basketball Champions League Final-4 MVP leading the Spanish side to the the BCL title.
